I will feature underexposed artists that I've happened to find using the Discovery page here on dA! If you would like an overview of how to use this page, feel free to see this brief guide!
ValaSedai
You know, the immediate appeal of ValaSedai's gallery to me was how interestingly varied it is! From pixel art to digital paintings, there is really a wide array of talent here!

MR-deviantArt
I am a little sad that MR-deviantArt's gallery isn't full of his amazing work! I originally saw Water is Music and thought it was a high-speed photo, but it's not! I say we all pitch in together and force him to upload a ton of his awesome art!

KawaiiCulture's gallery has many cute creations that I think would be perfect as gifts to friends and family, and it is just so colorful that you fall in love with her art immediately.
Araleva
I feel like Araleva's photos are transformative -- she is able to capture images of things that are sometimes cliché and she shows them to us in a new way. Her pictures are anything but cliché!

Where I've been
Lately I've begun to feel that deviantART is not visual enough. In favor of community, I think it's complicated itself with journals, news, polls, devWEAR, etc. There're so many features ABOUT art, that I think the art itself has been obscured. The art should be highlighted in the inbox! Art from my watchers should be large, and it shouldn't be buried in stacks and stacks of other things. It should be a constant stream. We should have art flowing from the sides and the top, but at the current stage, I'm just overwhelmed by all the other bits and bobs. I love all of its features; they're awesome if you have time to use them, but when you don't
Off to Paris
I leave for Paris tomorrow! If you've been or live there, any recommendations on places to see or eat? :eager:
See you on the other side. :happybounce:
Another year gone by.
2012 was actually an very mixed year for me. Lots of ups, fewer downs. It's really been great for self-discovery, exploration, and preparation for the real world. At the beginning of the year, I was still a naive freshman, now I'm (hopefully) a less naive sophomore. I've become more confident in abilities and myself (in fact, I'm stretching/gauging my ears, something I never would have been comfortable with in January 2012), and I'm going for global opportunities to further my education. In just two weeks, I'll be in Paris!
Unfortunately with all of this personal business, dA has fallen to the wayside in 2012 as I try and make the most of RL
