Does the stereotypical TwoWords that mean something kind of username make someone more memorable? For example: `BlissfullySarcastic, !BehindReality, ^Aeirmid, just random ones I found. xD

I guess so... I can't say I've ever thought about it. It depends on how it looks as well. It wouldn't stand out nearly so well if it was sanguineepitaph, for example. That'd just be.. yeah, a bit too difficult to take in.

Interesting stuff.

Usually I find short names easier, but when they're a random mix of letters/numbers, I think they're as tricky to remember as a longer username. I do not like numbers in usernames. Even if it's just three numbers, my brain has a habit of switching them around, so 137 becomes 173, or something like that. :paranoid:

I think the 'TwoWord' usernames do tend to flow of the tongue quite well, so they're generally quite easy to remember.

Also, something like =Sailor-Pikmin is difficult for me too, as for some reason my first instinct is to write 'Sailor-Pimkin'. I guess that's because it sounds more like 'pumpkin' that way, but I have the same trouble with the word 'gizmo'... I always write 'gimzo' and have to correct myself.

Hmmm... I think it's honestly much easier to remember, but sometimes I think a username is fine in any way. I don't think I've really had too much difficulty remembering some usernames. Thing is, sometimes it's pretty hard to remember how many x's and o's or 0's a username has if ever you do try to type them in a message. :'D

I do remember one outrageous username I've come across while browsing though... o3o *OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWO

Honestly, I kind of generally remember people's icons more than their names. I do make an effort to remember usernames when they're friends or like yourself when their icons change all the time. I do think in general the two word name are easier to remember because it's easier to find a word association to remember. But like that xyzabc one would be easy for me to remember because it's the last and first three of the alphabet - it's a pattern.
