I still can't really believe that a disaster of this scale could actually happen. I'll be keeping them in my prayers. I hope the situation will improve. I heard that many countries are sending in help, but with the nuclear explosion...

I heard that there was another nuclear explosion!

I feel so bad for Japan now, and there are lots of people that are being disrespectful about it (here in the US). I just hope that they can persevere through it without many more big issues.

My goodness. I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the news... So much death and destruction. The scale of it simply stunned me.

It had an ironic ring to it, considering just yesterday, during Geography, my teacher mentioned how Japan is prone to earthquakes due to plate tectonics... It's terrible.

It is absolutely terrible. It was aired on the news here about 7 hours after it happened, so we only got to see the aftershock and all, and now they're releasing more detailed statistics. It just keeps getting worse, I feel so bad that it had to happen.

I feel compelled to help raise money, but I have confidence that Japan is wealthy enough to do without a little bit of my money.

I'll keep the people in my thoughts and hope they persevere.
