Ohhh, in America we celebrate Groundhog Day (which you probably have never heard of?).
A groundhog comes out of the ground (somewhere...I think in Pennsylvania) and supposedly if it sees its shadow then we have 6 weeks left of winter (or something loony like that).
I've only heard of Groundhog Day in relation to the movie of the same name. As a day to celebrate stuff... not so much.
So... how would a groundhog notice or not notice his shadow? I mean, it's not like they can talk and say "omfg what is that dark thing that's the same shape as I am??" or anything. XD
Aha, we they should have thought about that when they determined it to be a good idea to look forward to watching a groundhog come out of its burrow to predict the weather.
