Another year gone by.

2012 was actually an very mixed year for me. Lots of ups, fewer downs. It's really been great for self-discovery, exploration, and preparation for the real world. At the beginning of the year, I was still a naive freshman, now I'm (hopefully) a less naive sophomore. I've become more confident in abilities and myself (in fact, I'm stretching/gauging my ears, something I never would have been comfortable with in January 2012), and I'm going for global opportunities to further my education. In just two weeks, I'll be in Paris!

Unfortunately with all of this personal business, dA has fallen to the wayside in 2012 as I try and make the most of RL situations. I can't commit to dA-related resolutions, but I would like to recreationally post The Discovery Channel again! I miss all of the friends I used to have and the joy I derived from being a community-minded dA member, but I guess all things change.

To commemorate the new year, I've redone my profile page and updated a lot of the 2-year-old information that was there!

If you read this, why don't you show me a piece of art you made in 2012 that you feel is important? Then if I have a good number of them, I'll post it as a feature to celebrate the coming of 2013!

Also, following suit of Steph1254, I want to get more in touch with my hiding watchers. I have more than 900 watchers and barely talk to you! Please feel free to introduce yourself, ask me questions, or show/tell me something cool!
