I rarely upload things that I actually write (like novels, etc.) because there aren't too many things that I DO write...

I have become addicted to six-word stories, though. It's basically that. Just tell a story in six words!

I became addicted because I found #SixWordStories and started reading about things...

Now I'm a contributor to that group!

Goldilocks and the Three Bears
The wretched moon drove me there – the looming blackness of the nighttime sky, illumined only by the dull redness of the Harvest Moon. There were clouds hanging drearily above me as I strode through the thicket of the forest. The frills of pine trees brushed against my face, and languid vegetation mingled with my legs. Amidst the vast canopy of this forest and the distortion of the clouds, youthful fear of the unknown coursed through my body. I knew not where I would arrive, only that any place would be better than the dark depths from whence I came.

Half-past sanity and sin,
Lies a serpentine blemish,
Upon which light is a harlequin.
I stumble.
I fall.
Into the golden embrace, I walk.
And yet, I see it.
It creeps, it quivers.
It stares at me.
But I know.
It knows.
That a fateful step
Will set us free.
Sanity and Sin

Free Write 1He hands it to me. A coil that catches the light in a preternatural manner. Shadows creep across his face and reveal signs of age, wisdom, and experience. This man says to me, "You see this little coil? The spirals? The smooth curves that encroach upon one another? They descend further and further downward. This glistening coil is life."

And I sit beside the well, caressing this coil slowly. It has lost its luster. Free Write 1
