World Toilet Day by SanguineEpitaph World Toilet Day by SanguineEpitaph
Please don't use this for anything without my permission. "Anything" means anything that is generally frowned upon in society. Such as thievery.

Edit 12.28.10: OHEMGEE. I seriously got a daily deviation?! SERIOUSLY? NO! WHOA. Thank you.
THAAAAANK YOOOOOU to `mintyy for featuring it and to *psycho-cookie for suggesting! This couldn't have come in a more apropos time. It's been rough.:heart:

Oh, I see that some people requested a print of this. o.o I don't think I can make a print of an animated emote? Someone help! :XD:

EDIT 12.26.10: Hmm, I smoothed out the ending! I hope it plays better. I added some transition frames.

EDIT: Can anyone tell me why there are white fuzzies on the outline of my emotes?? I looked for hidden spots, but there're none in the PSD. I don't know why it always does that....

This is an emoticon made for =SparklyDest's Monthly EMTC. This month's theme was holidays. So, I did some research and I discovered World Toilet Day.

As an American, I will wholly admit that I personally giggled at the thought of it. Toilets are where you drop off the children! Empty the tank! PUKE! :noes:

But legitimately, I would like to bring attention to this holiday (it's listed as a holiday in calendars, but it's really a movement) so that people are aware of an issue that might be overlooked because of the nature of it.

From the website:

1 out of 5 children die of diarrheal disease, which means this mother (picture on left) can expect to bury at least one of her children before their 5th birthday.

The water and sanitation crisis has claimed more lives than all the wars of the 20th century, combined.

And those are just two of the issues! :noes:!

Go here to enlighten yourself. The holiday's point is to raise awareness of the greatness of sanitation, and to raise money for third-world countries.

Take the initiative.

Be the change you want to see in the world.
- Mahatma Gandhi

Back to my emote.

:giggle: I had fun making this. Although I had to animate the swinging guy EVERY FRAME.

Unless you want him to be like that. :meow:

Over 70 layers.

Started this in economics (study hall today), worked for an hour and a half in English (also a study hall), the entire bus ride, and then three hours at home.

8 hours.

That is all.

Faves, comments, watches, feedback, etc. are all appreciated.

Who said that toilets can't have their day?World Toilet Day by =SanguineEpitaph is wicked , random and definetly too awesome to be missed ! ( Suggested by psycho-cookie and Featured by mintyy )
I had no idea that World Toilet Day even existed. This is most definitely a good way to raise awareness for an important topic such as this. The fact that you used emotes makes the viewer feel closer to the art, since we all at some point or other have used emoticons. I love the faces of each emote as they jump or swing around and the fact that this began as something silly and then evolved into something bigger. This is an impressive piece of work, and it certainly appears that time and effort when into it. Keep up the good work!

well its a fun little image i dont see much to it. It would be better if there was more but all we see is 2 emotioncons going in and one just hanging from a corner that naturally you could not hang from lol. But it is a cute picture that is meant to have fun with toilets. I wish there was more like seeing them go down the pipes or see a boat sink in it. but for what its worth its not bad so you get above average on my scale. good job and keep it up. =3
