This was inspired by Florence+The Machine's song, "Landscapes." Particularly these lines:

Cause she's just like the weather, can't hold her together
Born from dark water, daughter of the rain and snow
Cause it's burning through the bloodline
It's cutting down the family tree
Growing in the landscape, darling, in between you and me



I thought it would be cool to paint something like this, where the woman is becoming part of the landscape, or vice-versa. It's done in watercolor and took about 5 hours total! C:

...I adore Florence+The Machine ... ;_; The first song I heard was on a AMV called 'Cosmic Love' the second song I heard by them (from another AMV XD) was 'Addicted to Love' Song of my life ihvfuirehufhreui ;-; this is so beautiful, I love the way this fits the song so well and also >w< Your so good with water colors. I love using them also I tend to be only able to use wet media when I am doing traditional in general; If I am not doing wet media I tend to be usually using my pen tablet! -sorry for long comment- ;-; I looked up this song, and yet again I have fallen in love with another song by them <3
