Ah, Candace Flynn. I have been waiting to talk about this character for a long time.
In my opinion, she is the funniest character in the show. That’s not to say that the other characters aren’t funny or interesting because every character in the show has some funny moments and are interesting when it comes to their character. But if I had to choose who the funniest character of the show is, that would be Candace. Every one of her antics always puts a smile on my face. However…when I started watching the show back in 2008, it was not like that.

But I am getting ahead of myself let’s talk about Candace herself.

New Conlang PreviewI haven't constructed much grammar for this particular conlang, and it has no name. D: I have the phonology and such, and basic order. It does not have a concept of "syllables" because words cannot be broken down into syllables by the speakers.

Detailed Conlang MiniChallengeI recently was challenge by Jai in a mini-challenge to translate the sentence, "My grandmother was a wonderful person, I miss her."

This was an interesting challenge for several reasons:

It deals with death;
It has an interesting adjective, "wonderful";
It has the genitive first-person pronoun: "my".

So, needless to say, I jumped on this! :D It took about 35 minutes to invent the necessary grammar and then write the translation, which I will provide in the non-diacritic romanization and the formal diacritic-using one.

Actually, I wouldn't expect most people to be as anal as I was with this challenge. The main reason it has the IPA and all of that is because I have the IPA written in my dictionary, so it was easy to copy and paste. xD
